Why am I sitting in front of my computer crying?

Why have I waited so long to post this video, which I’ve seen everywhere?

Twenty-one million people have watched it on YouTube already. Some of the comments include one from a self-proclaimed atheist, saying he cannot stop watching it.

Sometimes it feels like our work in ministry is a never-ending uphill climb. It feels that way when we try so hard to work it within the confines of an establishment. Watching this tonight was actually the perfect timing for me, after we received an answer we were hoping would be different (nothing major at all…just a little disappointing).

We don’t need anyone’s permission to praise God. We don’t need a program or guidebook to use our gifts. What these people did in the middle of a food court is moving and beautiful because they shared the name of Jesus, no matter who was there and listening.

God, You did not call us to be the salt and light in places where it already exists. You did not ask us to play by man made rules or seek the approval of those who oppose us for their own gain. You do not want us to have any agenda other than YOURS. Thank You for the reminder today.

You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid… Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. – Matthew 5:13-16

Furthermore, it is HE Who will reign forever and ever…not our works or anyone else’s. He is the King of KINGS. What powerful, eternal words…

Watch – it will be impossible not to enjoy!
